New Perspectives photography exhibition
Featuring landscape photography by renowned Scottish photographer, Colin Prior the New Perspectives exhibition makes the thematic link between the new, often stunning, views of the surrounding landscape from the road with the new perspectives it realises for doing business in the region.
The exhibition was launched by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon in Aberdeen in May 2019 and then toured local libraries over a nine-week period. If you’d like to see how the exhibition appeared to visitors, please download the high-resolution PDF of the complete design here.

About the photographer
In a career spanning 37 years, Colin Prior photographs capture sublime moments of light and land, which are the result of meticulous planning and preparation and often take years to achieve.
Colin seeks out patterns in the landscape and the hidden links between reality and the imagination. He has written seven books that include, The World’s Wild Places and Living Tribes and has been the subject of three BBC documentaries entitled Mountain Man.
Colin travelled the length of the AWPR project to select the best vantage points for photography along the route.
