Your Journey

Your Journey

Wherever you’re travelling in and around Aberdeen, you’ll find your journey time is likely to be reduced when the new road opens.

In addition to the major journey time savings associated with the AWPR, the upgrade to the existing A90 between Balmedie and Tipperty will further improve journey times and reliability while reducing congestion for trips between these locations and communities further north, such as Peterhead and Fraserburgh.

Have a look at some of the key routes that will be quicker by car as a result of the project, based on average morning journey times, and think about how you’ll spend your extra time!
